Sustainability through Kai Project in Room 1.

  1. Hi there to all the Room 1 community. Here is a new post for you to share with family and friends. The children in Room 1 have grown vegetables and herbs from either seedlings or seeds this year. We have tended and harvested, cooked and shared our produce. We have also had a Kai sharing basket available to give and take from excess fruit and vegetables. This has been in part due to my being involved in the Sustainability through Kai Environmental Research Project this year. I hope parents have enjoyed the benefits of our labour and learning about Sustainability through Kai. The children have certainly enjoyed the variety of experiences and learning. It is very rewarding to see the joy of learning about nature on their faces. Many thanks for your help and support with our garden and your contributions to our Kai basket. We hope to read some lovely comments. Mrs Morgan
